The Intense Pulse Light (IPL) technology refreshes the skin by using controlled burst of light that directly target blood vessels or melanin within your sin, reducing the coloring of age spots freckles, redness and overall sun damage. The Frax 1550 technology rejuvenates the skin by delivering small, controlled burst of energy to reduce textural irregularities. What steps must be taken before the procedure?

Before your Light & Bright® treatment, it’s important to avoid direct sun exposure and tanning for at least one month. This helps ensure optimal results and minimizes the risk of complications. You should also refrain from using harsh skincare products, such as exfoliants or retinoids, in the days leading up to your treatment. A topical anesthetic or numbing cream may be applied to ensure comfort during the procedure. Be sure to discuss any medical history or skin conditions with your provider during the consultation to ensure the treatment is right for you.

What should I expect during and after the procedure?

This combination treatment will deliver a bright flash of light and a sensation on your skin that feels like a light snap from an elastic band. Followed by heat being gently rolled across the skin. Redness, mild swelling and a slight warming of the skin are normal after treatment and usually subside withing a few hours. Over the next 24-48 hours pigmented spots will darken and naturally exfoliate off over 7-10 days. You may notice some sloughing of the skin a few days following the treatment.

During the Light & Bright® treatment, you’ll experience a brief flash of light followed by a gentle sensation, similar to a light snap from an elastic band, and soothing heat rolled across the skin. After the treatment, you may notice some redness, mild swelling, and a slight warming sensation, all of which typically subside within a few hours. Over the next 24-48 hours, pigmented spots may darken and gradually exfoliate naturally within 7-10 days, revealing a brighter complexion. A subtle skin sloughing may occur in the days following the treatment, leaving your skin refreshed and rejuvenated.
