Halo® is a corrective solution for your skin that precisely targes damaged skin to dramatically improve the visible signs of aging.
HALO® is the world’s only Hybrid Fractional Laser that delivers a non-ablative and an ablative wavelength simultaneously to the same microscopic treatment zone. HALO® is the world’s only Hybrid Fractional Laser that delivers both non-ablative and ablative wavelengths to the same microscopic treatment zone simultaneously. This unique combination allows HALO® to address multiple skin concerns in one efficient treatment, improving visible signs of aging such as fine lines, wrinkles, discoloration, enlarged pores, and acne scars.
The ablative wavelength targets surface-level skin concerns like textural issues and pore size by creating small thermal injuries that stimulate the production of new, healthy skin, resulting in visible improvements in a short period of time. The non-ablative wavelength focuses on deeper dermal layers to treat more severe sun damage and other pigmentary issues. Together, these wavelengths provide both immediate results and long-term benefits for a wide range of skin types and concerns.
Common areas for treatment include the face, neck, chest, hands, arms, and legs.
Before your HALO® treatment, it’s important to avoid sun exposure for at least two weeks, as tanning can increase the risk of complications and affect the results. You should also refrain from using any retinoids, exfoliating products, or acne treatments for a few days prior to your appointment to prevent irritation. If you’re taking any medications, especially those that affect skin sensitivity, make sure to inform your provider beforehand. Additionally, it’s recommended to avoid alcohol and blood-thinning medications, like aspirin or ibuprofen, in the days leading up to your treatment to reduce the risk of bruising. Please arrive with clean, makeup-free skin to ensure the treatment goes smoothly.
Before the HALO® treatment, a topical anesthetic or numbing cream is applied to ensure comfort. A Zimmer chiller may also be used to keep the skin cool during the procedure, further helping to ease any discomfort the patient may experience.
Patients often notice a significant improvement, commonly referred to as the HALO® Glow.
Remarkable results can often be achieved in a single treatment, while older, non-hybrid technologies typically require 5 to 6 sessions to achieve similar outcomes.
Most patients can resume normal activities within 24-48 hours after the procedure. Redness, swelling, darkening, and shedding of the skin are common side effects and can last a few days, depending on the depth of the treatment.
