Facial and Leg Vascular Lesions
Vascular lesions are visible red, blue or purple veins that typically appear on the face and legs. They are not usually painful and are smaller than other veins, including varicose veins.
The GentleMax Pro® short pulses of light energy target and destroy problematic blood vessels, thereby eliminating the unwanted surface vein or vascular lesion. Before and after each laser pulse, the GentleMax Pro® device delivers a liquid coolant onto the skin, protecting the surrounding tissue. This cooling system can be adjusted to your individual needs
Common areas are face, neck, chest and legs.

What steps must be taken before the procedure?
- Avoid direct, excessive sun exposure or tanning one month prior to treatment.
What should I expect during and after the procedure?
The GentleMax Pro® lasers have a unique, integral skin cooling system, so most patients find GentleMax Pro® treatments extremely tolerable. Some people experience a sensation similar to having an elastic band snapped against the skin during treatment. You will be able to resume normal activities after each session, but you may be given specific advice, such as avoiding sun or abrasive skin cleansers on treated skin for a few days. If you do have any redness or swelling after treatment, this should resolve in a couple of hours.
