Cosmelan®
Cosmelan® is a depigmentation treatment that completely eliminates melanic spots and helps prevent their return for short-term results, while also keeping hyperpigmentation in check for long-lasting effects.
The Cosmelan® method consists of 4-phases which are necessary to achieve optimal outcomes. Intense depigmentation in office in phase 1 and treatment for home use in phases 2, 3 and 4.

Cosmelan® is designed to address all types of melanin-based spots, which arise from factors like hormonal changes, genetics, post-acne conditions, and post-depilation issues, and can be exacerbated by sun exposure. As a result, Cosmelan® effectively treats various spots, including melasma, post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation (PIH), solar lentigines, age spots, and freckles. While Cosmelan® is safe to use with all skin types, patients are required to schedule a consultation with a provider first.
During the initial phase and following the treatment, the skin may become irritated or red. This is normal and expected, and it will disappear within a few days. During the home phase, it is common to experience slight peeling and sensitivity. These symptoms will disappear when applying the home products recommended by your provider.
